I hope you are well.
As we prepare for your child to start in Gorey Community School, I would like to invite you to the two following events.
1. The Transition from Primary to Secondary school – On Line event Monday March 3rd at 6.30.
Gorey community School teacher, Dr. Grainne Mulcahy, will give a presentation on supporting your child as they navigate the journey from primary to secondary school.
Careers Guidance counsellor, Ms. Criona Atkinson, will address you on the topic of subject choice.
The event will be held through Microsoft Teams and you can access the meeting through the link below. Please make sure that you have Microsoft Teams downloaded to your phone/device in advance. While this event is aimed at parents, the students are also welcome.

2. Incoming 1st Year Parents’ Information Evening (Live Meeting)
This meeting will take place in The Gym in Gorey Community School at 7pm on Monday May 19th and will give you the opportunity to meet the team of people who will be working with your child during their six years in GCS. There will be an opportunity at the end of the presentations to ask questions both collectively and individually.
This meeting is for parents only and I look forward to meeting you again.
