Dear 6th Year Parents,
I hope you are well.
I am seeking your support with the following :
Some 6th year students have indicated to teachers that they are considering taking occasional Study Days. I am requesting that you do not accede to this as I feel strongly that it is not in the best interests of the students. 6th Year teachers are all engaged in revising courses, and are in the throes of the final preparations for the exams, and students are missing valuable learning opportunities when absent.
As we approach the final weeks of the school year, as is my practice every year, I cannot permit a part time approach to the school timetable and I would greatly appreciate your support with this.
