As you are aware from last week's Information meeting, the collection of your child's books will take place on Thursday May 28th. I have copied a message from the Schoolbooks Team which contains the necessary details.

Dear Parent/Guardian,
As you are aware, all relevant Schoolbooks and Core Classroom Resources are being provided to students by the school, under the Post-Primary Schoolbooks Scheme 2026/27. We encourage you to read through and familiarise yourself with our Schoolbooks Scheme Policy, which can be found on our website.
For incoming First Year students, the distribution of schoolbooks and resources will be carried out on Thursday 28th May from 9am until 7pm.
The collection point will be at the School Oratory (Y25 W535). Please see directions attached. Please park on the School Basketball Courts at the front of the school and walk up to the Oratory.
To facilitate the smooth running of this process, please find attached a schedule with your allocated collection time. Time slots have been assigned alphabetically, according to each student’s surname, for ease of distribution for all.
Please be advised that we are unable to facilitate changes to your allocated collection slot at this time.
It is important that you arrive at your allocated time only. Early or late arrivals will significantly impact the efficiency of the process for all. The distribution of over 270 boxes is quite a substantial task and so your cooperation and patience with this process is greatly appreciated.
Please Note:
- It is very important that you arrive at your allocated time only.
- You may only collect items for your own child.
- The boxes of schoolbooks are VERY heavy.

Please ensure that you have someone to assist you in carrying the box if required.

Please bring your reading glasses if required.
- Please ensure that you have a suitable means of transport for the box.
- All boxes must be checked and signed for before leaving with your student’s box.
- All discrepancies must be reported and logged during collection.
