School Notices 18/10/24

Dear Parent,

I hope you are all well on this rainy Friday morning. I have a number of items to bring to your attention.

Next week is Wellbeing Week in GCS with various wellbeing activities taking place in the school including yoga, cookery demonstrations, calligraphy, fresh fruit (Kindly donated by Cullen’s Fruit), etc.

Thank you to all of you who donated raffle prizes and sponsorship. It is greatly appreciated.

The Musical is an excellent evening’s entertainment and the week of performances is going extremely well. The students in the cast and backstage are absolutely outstanding, and full of talent, energy and commitment.

The team from Prime Time will be in the school next Wednesday, October 23rd, as part of an overall national piece that they are doing on school attendance. Groups of students, with their teachers present, will be given the opportunity to share their viewpoints with the Prime Time team and there will be some filming done in the school at various stages. If you do not wish your child to be captured on film or to participate in a group discussion, please let me know in separate e mail (not a reply to this group e mail).
