As you are aware, the 3rd and 6th year students attended the above presentation in the school on Thursday and the Guidance department have asked me to send the following information to you.

The Zoom link for the Parent Pep Talk, which will take place at 7:30pm on Monday 23rd September.
The Parent Pep Talk will be delivered live and we will share a link to the recording with you afterwards.

This is open to all parents.
- Open Evening
Our annual Open evening took place in the school last Wednesday and was a great success. The weather was excellent and we had a wonderful atmosphere in the school. A sincere than you to the many students who attended and took on roles and responsibilities, both on the night and in advance. The 6th class parents were very complimentary about our students.
Please remember that the closing date for completed applications is Monday October 21st at 3.45. As you have a child in the school already, you will be guaranteed a place for your 6th class child but it is essential that you apply on time in order to secure a place as late applications will be placed on a waiting list and may be disappointed.
The new application form does not require you to include information in relation to your child's educational needs. This information can be supplied when you are accepting a place. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions in relation to the application process.
4. Vape Sensors
All of the toilets have been fitted with Vape Sensors which instantly react when a vape is being used and send a message and photograph. Apart from one error, a number of students have been caught vaping and have had sanctions imposed. I would be grateful if you could discuss this issue with your sons and daughters.
The purpose of this initiative is to try to eliminate the incidence of vaping in the school so that all students can feel comfortable about going into the toilets without the concerns that others could be vaping, or having to inhale second hand fumes.
5. October 4th
I would like to remind you that there will be no classes in the school on October 4th.
