School Notices 28/08/24

Dear Parent,

I hope you are all well and that your sons and daughters are looking forward to returning to school.

I am attaching two items for your attention.

2.Instructions on how to access the lockers. Locker Access instructions

Please remember to go on to Easy payments on the school website and click on your child's year group to pay the school costs. The payments are required in order for your child to receive a journal and be allocated a locker as these are costs which we have to pay to the companies who provide both items.

The canteen will be open for morning break only on Wednesday so 5th and 6th year students are asked to bring in a lunch if they are not going up town.

The full service will be available from Thursday.

I would like to refer you to the uniform section on the website where you will get clear guidance on the school uniform requirements.

If your child left their school uniform jacket in school at the end of the year they can be collected from the school any day this week. Please see me in relation to this.

We are making some small changes to the procedures we are using for student absences and for students who have to leave early during the school day due to illness and appointments, and I will send the details to you in the next week.

This year we are trialing a return to posting the school reports to you in hard copy this year for all three assessment periods. They will still be available to view on VS Ware.

I am aware of the difficulties many of you have experienced Iin relation to the ordering of the school PE uniform and I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and stress that this has caused. I will be in contact later this week with a solution for those of you whose children will be starting the school year without the PE gear and I am also in the process of addressing this so that the issue of supply does not reoccur.
