I hope you are having a pleasant weekend, and I have a number of updates for you as we get ready to begin another week.
Ransomware Hack
The school's IT team, with external support, have started the process of addressing the array of issues caused by this unfortunate event.
As school data may have been compromised, I have made a Data Breach Report to the Data Commissioner.
Measures are being implemented to ensure that the upcoming Computer Science Leaving Cert exams, and the use of Assistive Technology in the Leaving Cert and Junior Cycle exams in June will not be impacted.
TY Italian Exchange
The current TY students have recently returned from the trip to Italy which once again was a huge success.
I am attaching a poster which gives an overview of the Italian Exchange, and current 3rd year students who will be in TY in September can contact any of the following teachers to get more information.

TY Awards Night
This year we have decided to make a return to an evening awards ceremony for TY.
Parents are most welcome and we would be delighted to see you there.
7pm - Viewing the TY displays and having tea/coffee as you browse.
7.30 - The awards ceremony will start. and will conclude at 9pm.
5th Year Devices.
Please remember to order your child's device before the end of the month.
6th Year Graduation Service
I am looking forward to seeing the 6th year parents at our annual Graduation Service which will take place on Thursday May 21st at 7.30 in the gym.
Refreshments will be available in the quad after the ceremony, weather permitting, and are provided by the Parents' Association.
Every family will receive two tickets, and an overflow room will be available to which the event will be live streamed.
This is always a lovely event and for many of you, marks the end of your time with us.
End of Year Arrangements
1st, 2nd and 5th Year students will begin their May Assessments on Tuesday May 26th.
6th year students will finish on Thursday May 21st.
3rd Year students will finish on Monday May 25th.
TY students will finish on Wednesday May 20th.
Lockers
All students are requested to have their lockers emptied by 3.45 on Monday May 25th.
