School Notices May 4th, 2026

Dear Parents,
Good afternoon, and I hope you are all having a nice weekend.
I would like to draw your attention to the following items :

5th Year Devices - Reminder
I can see that the device orders are going well Please remember to order the device before the end of May to avail of the current price.

Staff Meeting.
We are having a 'half in-half out' staff meeting on Monday May 11th and classes will end at 3.05.

StudyClix
The school has invested in StudyClix this year as a valuable support to both students and teachers. The statistics suggest that all year groups are using the facility, with particularly strong numbers in 3rd, 5th and 6th year.
We are currently reviewing StudyClix and would welcome your feedback by completing the attached survey by Friday, which will take five minutes..

UCD Coding Camp
The UCD school of Computer Science are offering a summer School Coding camp to students who have either completed TY in May 2025 or who are starting TY in September.

State Exam Fees
a number of parents have contacted me in relation to the junior Cycle and Leaving Cert fees. The 3rd and 6th Year students were given letters with the payment details by their Maths teacher. The fees are paid directly to the State Examinations Commission and not to the school. If you have any queries please contact the SEC quoting the student's exam number, and they will be able to assist you.

Canteen
As is usual practice, the canteen will not be available during the stare exams and students are advised to bring a lunch. All student have permission to leave the school at lunchtimes during the state exams.

School Transport Applications
The application deadline for bus tickets for next year is Friday May 8th. More information is available
